Brandon Kennedy (he/they) received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He will graduate soon with his Masters of Library and Information Science through the University of Missouri (MU), completing his time alongside his fellow cohort members as a funded fellow with the Catalysts for Community Health (C4CH) IMLS grant cohort.
Brandon is currently working both as a Communication Assistant for the NNLM Region 3 and as a Access Services Specialist for the Strauss Health Sciences Library in Aurora, CO. His interests include LGBTQ+ Health, multicultural and multilangual outreach, and bringing awareness to indigenous medicines. He is dedicated for advocating for further diversity, equity, and inclusion within libraries and strives to bring attention to the inequities that are found within underrepresented communities.
