David Aguero, PharmD, MSTL, FAMIA, FASHP is the Director of Medication Systems and Informatics and the Program Director of the PGY2 pharmacy informatics residency at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. In his role at St. Jude, Dr. Aguero leads the medication-use system and supporting technologies, including informatics, pharmaceutical data analytics, and supply chain service lines.
Dr. Aguero is recognized as a Fellow of both ASHP and the American Medical Informatics Association. He lends his expertise in RFID technology to the Executive Leadership Committee for GS1 US Healthcare, serves as an expert panel member for the United States Pharmacopeia, the Vizient Clinical Pharmacy Council, and is currently the Chair-Elect of the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology.
