Wendi Owens is a CPhT who staffs as a Clinical Program Manager with the Vanderbilt Specialty Pharmacy (VSP). She has been with the Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Pharmacy team since 2013. Prior to joining VUMC, she staffed as a lead technician at a community pharmacy. She is a passionate advocate for the advancement of technician scope of practice within the future of pharmacy and uses her passion to be a voice for the pharmacy profession. She actively engages in associations on both a state and national level so to advocate for the continues development of the workforce landscape. Her passion is specialty pharmacy and how we can further integrated our technicians to be a vital aspect of all processes within any practice setting.
