Deborah Sadowski is Director of Pharmacy Services at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. With over 30 years of acute care experience in both clinical and administrative roles, Deborah’s practice focus is on patients suffering cardiovascular, vascular, and pulmonary disease as well as the accompanying co-morbidities found in those patient populations. In her current position, Deborah oversees all aspects of clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and operational management for pharmacy services of both inpatient and outpatient care. She is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, with a BS in Pharmacy and of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, with a Master’s Degree in Health Administration. An active member of both the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Deborah has served on several advisory boards, has provided medication safety education in the community and on a local radio broadcasts as well as for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst medical personnel. She has served as a peer reviewer for various ASHP clinical meeting submissions as well as CV reviewer for students and recent grads. Deborah served on the Inpatient Care Practitioners Section Advisory Group on Medication Safety previously and is currently appointed to the Section Advisory Group for Small and Rural Hospitals. Additionally, Dbeorah has served several terms as a New Jersey Delegate for ASHP.
