Travis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Mexico followed by a PharmD from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He completed both PGY1 and PGY2 residencies at Duke University Hospital where he specialized in Solid Organ Transplantation. He then relocated to Utah to become a clinical specialist and, later, the transplant clinical coordinator and PGY1 Residency Program Coordinator at Intermountain Medical Center. Concurrently, he earned an MBA at the University of Utah. He is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist that has published manuscripts and presented at numerous meetings. Travis is currently the Director of Clinical Pharmacy Practice, Research, & Education at the University of Rochester, directs the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, and holds faculty appointments in the School of Medicine and as at St. John Fisher College. Travis is active in pharmacy organizations and is a past-president of the New York State ACCP chapter, was a planning committee member for 2018 ACCP Global Conference, and Vice Chair of the 2018 ACCP Certification Affairs Committee. He is a past board member for the Utah ASHP affiliate, and currently serves on the board of the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists. Within ASHP he has served in the House of Delegates, is a past-chair of the Frontline Leaders SAG, and is currently the Vice Chair of the SPPL Educational Steering Committee.
