Dr. Marc McDowell is an emergency medicine and medical intensive care pharmacist at University of Illinois Health in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy then completed a PGY1 residency and PGY2 emergency medicine residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. In his current role as an emergency medicine and medical ICU clinical pharmacist, Dr. McDowell assists physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses manage acutely ill patients. His research areas of interest include resuscitation science, anticoagulation reversal, and neurosciences. In addition to clinical responsibilities, he serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy where he lectures on a myriad of topics.
