Laura Butkievich, PharmD, MHA, MSHI, BCPS, BCACP is the Pharmacy Manger for Formulary Utilization, Quality and Regulatory and previously served as the System Pharmacy Clinical Manager at University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, MO. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy, completed a PGY1 Pharmacy residency at University of Missouri Health Care, a PGY2 Internal Medicine pharmacy residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, MO, and a Master of Health Administration and Masters of Health Informatics both from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Laura has served as Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP) Past President, Mid-Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists Past President (MMSHP), MSHP Research and Education Foundation Board Member (2012-2018), ASHP Commission on Affiliate Relations (2019-2021, Chair - 2021), and ASHP House of Delegate member for Missouri (2018-2023). Laura continues to serve MSHP as a member of the Public Policy Committee, ASHP as a member of the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists Section Advisory Group on Clinical Leadership (2017-2023), and serves as a Board of Trustees Member for University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. Her professional practice interests include internal medicine, ambulatory care, transitions of care, population health, pharmacy education, pharmacy residency programs, quality improvement, clinical programs development, clinical patient outcomes measurement, pharmacy research/publication, health care reform, leadership development, and pharmacy management.
