Salia Farrokh, PharmD, BCCCP, FNCS is a neuro ICU clinical pharmacist specialist at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Farrokh received her PharmD degree from Wegmans School of Pharmacy in Rochester, NY. Her postgraduate training includes residencies in Pharmacy Practice and Critical Care at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Farrokh’s research interests include effective antiplatelet therapy in neurocritical care, optimal pain management in neuro ICU patients, neurological complications in ECMO, refractory status epilepticus, and use of neurostimulants in TBI. Dr. Farrokh has lectured widely on analgesia and sedation, status epilepticus, ICH reversal, ICP management, and she has authored or co-authored many reports and reviews in peer-reviewed journals as well as chapters in textbooks. Dr. Farrokh is passionate about teaching and is a certified ENLS (Emergency Neurological Life Support) trainer.
