Dennis Williams is an Associate Professor in the Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He received his B.S. in Phamacy and Pharm.D. degrees from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Williams has maintained certification as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 1991. He has been recognized as a Fellow by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association, and American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Dr. Williams’ practice, teaching and scholarly interests are in the areas of pulmonary diseases, infectious diseases, immunology and allergy. He also has been actively involved with global engagement activities throughout the world, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Carolina Honduras Health Foundation which provides medical care to citizens of Honduras. Dr. Williams has provided scientific and clinical presentations nationally and internationally on topics in his areas of interest.
