Kevin A. Clauson, Pharm.D., is a Professor at the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Nashville, TN, and a member of the World Health Organization (WHO), Department of Digital Health Roster of Experts and the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Network of Digital Health Experts. Previously, Dr. Clauson was founding director of the first WHO Collaborating Center to prioritize mobile health (mHealth) initiatives in its work plan. He currently serves on the editorial board of BMC Medical Education, Advisory Boards for Equideum Health (formerly ConsenSys Health) and RemediChain, and as a judge and mentor for competitions and hackathons (e.g., Withings Precision Research Challenge, IEEE Advancing HealthTech Hackathon, Medicine 2.0 @ Harvard mHealth Research Award). Over the past twenty years, Dr. Clauson has explored emerging technologies in digital health like blockchain at the White House, medication adherence solutions with gamification at Stanford Medicine X, and public health informatics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). His research appears in journals, books, and other media and has generated coverage by the New York Times, Forbes.com, Wall Street Journal, and BBC Radio. Dr. Clauson received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee – Memphis and completed a Research Fellowship at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
