Ms. Varintorn (Bank) Aramvareekul, RPh, MHSA, MBA, CPHIMS, CPHQ, CSSGB, PMP, SHIMSS, FACHE, is the Administrator of Informatics, Medication Safety and Performance Improvement, Administrative Director of the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program and the Director of Georgetown Rx Education Channel, at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Ms. Aramvareekul is a registered pharmacist in DC, she received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She earned her MBA from Strayer University and MS in health systems administration from Georgetown University. She holds several certifications: Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and Project Management Professional. She has earned Senior status of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ms. Aramvareekul is a member of Educational Steering Committee of ASHP Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology. She has served as a content reviewer for poster abstracts and case management studies for the past 15 years, a CV reviewer for early careerists, and a reviewer for AJHP for the past three years. In addition, she has served on BD Pyxis Thought Leaders since 2014. Moreover, she has served as a reviewer and mentor for the HIMSS Global Health Conference. Lastly, Ms. Aramvareekul has been elected as the Vice President of the National Capital Healthcare Executives.
