Marie A. Chisholm-Burns, PharmD, PhD, MPH, MBA, FCCP, FASHP, FAST, is Executive Vice President and Provost of Oregon Health & Science University. She previously served as Dean and UTHSC Distinguished Professor of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Pharmacy. Guided by a driving vision to make a difference in the academic enterprise, she is a proponent of initiatives, services, and opportunities to advance success among students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other stakeholders. She is a committed advocate and has a proven track record of advancing equity, inclusivity, and diversity. Dr. Chisholm-Burns is Founder and Director of the Medication Access Program which increases medication access to solid-organ transplant recipients. She was Chair of the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Educators Executive Committee, is a member of the ASHP Pharmacy Forecast Advisory Committee, was a member of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education Board of Directors, and is a member of the American Society of Transplantation Board of Directors and the National Academies of Practice. Dr. Chisholm-Burns has more than 365 publications and over $17 million in external funding as principal investigator and co-investigator from organizations such as the National Institutes of Health and several foundations. She has received numerous awards and honors from national professional organizations including the ASHP Foundation Award for Sustained Contributions to the Literature and the ASHP/ABHP Joint Leadership Award.
