After graduating from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy Dr. Jeffres completed a pharmacy practice residency with Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah and a specialty residency in infectious diseases at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She made a quick pit stop in clinical practice before joining the faculty at Roseman University in Nevada. Now at University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy she continues to teach infectious diseases and clinical problem solving. Her practice site is the University of Colorado Hospital where she precepts students and residents on an internal medication rotation. Her areas of research include antimicrobial stewardship, antibiotic adverse reactions and allergies, and active learning. Find her on Twitter @PharmerMeg.
