Kaylee Marino, PharmD, BCCCP, BCPS is a clinical pharmacy specialist at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) with a focus in Emergency Medicine and Neurocritical Care. Kaylee earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Northeastern University in Boston and completed her PGY 1 pharmacy residency at VA Boston Healthcare System. She is dual board certified in pharmacotherapy and critical care pharmacy and is an item writer for the BPS Emergency Medicine Pharmacy certification exam. As an Emergency Medicine pharmacist, Kaylee has an active role as part of the multidisciplinary team responding to all bedside emergencies, medication review, optimizing pharmacotherapy management, and guideline development/implementation. Kaylee has experience speaking at the hospital, local, and national level on various topics such as acute ischemic stroke, blood pressure control in neurologic emergencies, and agitation management in the Emergency Department. She has published on topics including implentation of a IV levothyroxine stewardship program, role of desmopressin in managment of hyponatremia, and review of adjunctive agents for agitaiton management in the neurocritical care population. Kaylee serves as a preceptor for PGY-1 and PGY-2 pharmacy residents for their Emergency Medicine rotation as well as a preceptor for students on their APPE rotation. Kaylee's areas of interest including optimizing the clinical pharmacist role in emergency response, acute stroke management, and medication safety.
