Pharmacist Specialist

William Dager is one of a few Pharmacists honored with a Master in Critical Care and is currently Chancellor of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and on the Board of Directors for the Anticoagulation Forum. He has been with UC Davis Health as a pharmacist specialist and the PGY-2 Cardiology program director. His practice actively involves comprehensive management of critically ill patients with a focus on cardiovascular and special populations. He is also is engaged in managing complex anticoagulation and hemostasis therapies. Dr. Dager holds 3 academic appointments as a full professor and has earned 4 fellowship recognitions. A recipient of the ACCP best practice award, he also had received several teaching awards. He has actively been engaged in direct patient care and research regarding measuring and reversing anticoagulants and published over 130 papers and textbook chapters on a diverse area of topics.
