Solid Organ Transplant Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

I currently serve as the Solid Organ Transplant Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and am responsible for the inpatient and outpatient therapeutic management of liver and kidney transplant recipients. I completed my PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and a PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. I am a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and have been extensively involved in the review and development of protocols for the department of transplantation to improve wellness and transplant outcome utilizing evidence-based medicine. I began my position at Temple University Hospital in March 2016 and have been involved in project management for the American Society of Transplantation, in which I am also an active member. I am actively involved in clinical research and publications at Temple University Hospital and have acquired grant funded-research in the transplant population. I provide consistent education on multidisciplinary rounds and at transplant quality meetings. I have also delivered various national, local, and university-based continuing education presentations in the area of immunosuppression in solid organ transplantation as well as additional educational programs for pharmacists and physicians in the area of transplantation.
