National Program Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Practice

Terri Jorgenson, RPH, BCPS, is a National Program Manager for Clinical Pharmacy Practice Integration and Model Advancement with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), Clinical Pharmacy Practice Office. She graduated Pharmacy School from Auburn University and has worked for the VA for over 20 years in leadership, clinical pharmacy practice and academic detailing roles. She serves the VA as a subject matter expert and lead consultant for Clinical Pharmacy Practice and Opioid Stewardship with a focus on improving access to safe pain care and substance use disorder treatment through deployment of Clinical Pharmacist Practitioners. Terri is an active member of ASHP with current appointments to the Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders Educational Steering Committee and Council on Pharmacy Practice. Terri has also served as program chair, moderator, and/or faculty several times with ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, Pharmacy Leaders Conference and Summer Meeting. She has been involved as faculty for the ASHP Opioid Stewardship Certificate program, a panelist for the 2018 ASHP Commission on Goals focused on Opioids and member of the 2019 ASHP Opioid Task Force. With the Maryland Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Terri chairs the Educational Steering Committee.
