Jerika T. Lam, PharmD, AAHIVP, FCSHP obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Los Angeles, and received her Pharm.D. from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 residency at the San Francisco VA Health Care System and a 2-year fellowship n HIV translational research at USC. She is credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) as a pharmacist specialist in HIV pharmacotherapy and management. Dr. Lam practices in the areas of HIV/AIDS and hepatitis. She started several pharmacist-run HIV clinic services and provided direct patient care to HIV/AIDS and hepatitis B/C co-infected patients in southern California (Palm Springs, Riverside, and Anaheim). She has received Preceptor of the Year award in ambulatory care and Professor of the Year (Class of 2020). She authored many articles and book chapters in HIV, hepatitis C, pharmacogenomics, and patient safety. She continues to present on these topics at the state and national levels. Dr. Lam has received grant funding for translational research in HIV and hepatitis C therapeutics. She was the recipient of the Fellow of California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP). She is a member of the AAHIVM examination writer workgroup. Dr. Lam is an Associate Professor at Chapman University School of Pharmacy.
