Denise Kelley, PharmD, BCPS is an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, TX. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Auburn University followed by a PGY1 Residency at UF Health Jacksonville and a PGY2 Internal Medicine Specialty Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She previously practiced at UF Health Jacksonville where she received the 2017 University of Florida New Inpatient Preceptor of the Year award and was awarded the 2017 New Practitioner of the Year Award by the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP). She is an active member of ASHP, currently serving on the ASHP Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists Educational Steering Committee. She previously served as a member of the ASHP Council on Education and Workforce Development and on the FSHP Board of Directors. She has presented at the local, state, and national levels. Her professional interests include anticoagulation, HIV, nephrology, and transitions of care.
