Brent N. Reed, PharmD, MS, is a doctoral student in Organizational Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where his research pursuits include workplace stress, burnout, and work redesign. Reed obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and completed two years of pharmacy residency training at the University of North Carolina Medical Center. Prior to returning to school, Reed practiced for nearly ten years as a pharmacist specializing in the management of heart failure, most recently at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Reed maintains an affiliation with the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy where he was a faculty member for eight years. Reed began his transition into the organizational sciences with a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology at the University of Baltimore in 2020.
