Meredith Hollinger, PharmD, BCPS is currently the Pharmacy Director for Acute Care Clinical Services at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. In her current role, Dr. Hollinger is responsible for patient-centered acute care pharmacy practice, antimicrobial stewardship, and transitions of care. Her areas of interest include advancement of pharmacy practice, leadership development, clinical pharmacy enterprise integration, and medication safety/quality improvement. Dr. Hollinger serves as a preceptor for the Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency program as well as the Director for the Pharmacy Internship Program. She has a passion for developing and mentoring learners and clinicians to enhance their role as pharmacy experts, preceptors, and practice leaders.
She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 2007 and completed ASHP accredited residencies in Pharmacy Practice (2007) and Critical Care (2008) at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE. Following residency completion, she served as a clinical pharmacy specialist in cardiovascular critical care prior to transitioning into pharmacy leadership.
Dr. Hollinger has served as a member of the American Society Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Sections for Clinical Specialists and Scientists and Pharmacy Practice Managers. Additionally, she has served as a Pharmacy Practice Managers Section Advisory Group Member for various groups. She serves as an active member of Vizient AMC Professional Development & Workforce Committee.
