I am a quantitative ecologist and interdisciplinary environmental scientist who is interested in disentangling the drivers of soil fungal community assembly in natural and agricultural systems at multiple spatial scales. To do so, I synthesize fungal amplicon sequence data from soil sampling networks and field experiments to analyze the relationships between fungal diversity and climate, plant community structure, and dispersal limitation.
