Hi! My name is Jessica Balerna and I'm in my last year as a PhD candidate at the University of South Florida. My interests span freshwater ecology, social hydrology, biogeochemistry, and environmental anthropology and most often ask how freshwater systems are shaped and influenced by direct and indirect human interactions. I'll be looking to continue studying human-environment interactions in a post-doc, fellowship, or research position next year.
