I obtained my BSc in Biological Sciences and a Magistère in Biology from Paris-Sud University (France). As an undergraduate student, I worked on genomic plasticity in Thermococcus archea (supervised by Jacques Oberto) and on sexual selection of the ant Cataglyphis cursor (supervised by Thibaud Monnin). I completed her MSc in Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution (BEE) at Paris-Saclay University (France) after a one-year exchange at the University of Calgary. During my masters, I focused on invasive species for two projects at the Roscoff Marine Station (France), studying trophic characteristics of native and invasive sympatric ascidian species of the genus Ciona (co-supervised by Dr. Christophe Lejeusne and Dr. Thierry Comtet), as well as connectivity patterns and population dynamics in the invasive kelp Undaria pinnatifida (supervised by Frédérique Viard)
For my Ph.D, I am using genomic approaches and transplant experiments to study 1) the rapid evolution (evolutionary rescue and reversal) of the copepod Leptodiaptomus minutus to lake acidification 2) local adaptation to climate of the copepods across a latitudinal gradient, 3) microgeographic adaptation of L. minutus to variation in pH, summer temperature, fish predation and DOC at fine scale and 4) local adaptation of a native gastropod to an invasive predator fish (the round goby) accross a gradient in calcium concentration. For the copepod projects, I am developping a reference genome as part of the CanSeq150 initiative.
