Event Description: This is an open reception and opportunity to discuss, both formally and informally, the process of publishing papers in Methods in Ecology and Evolution (a journal of the British Ecological Society) with its Executive Editor, Senior and Associate Editors, and journal staff. Planned discussion topics include what methods are underrepresented in the journal and how to change that; how the journal can increase authorship, especially from individuals and research groups outside of North America, the UK, and Europe; reducing the barriers to open access publishing; and next year's open call for new Associate Editors.
