Dr. Andres Calagua completed his psychiatry residency at Elmhurst Hospital Center and his C-L psychiatry fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital. As a trainee, Dr. Calagua received psychodynamic/psychoanalytic classes at the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute, and he is a current fellow in the psychodynamic psychotherapy program at the Psychoanalytic Institute of New England. He works as an attending psychiatrist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and he is a faculty member at Geisel School of Medicine. Dr. Calagua provides outpatient consultation services as an embedded/collaborative care psychiatrist at Dartmouth's primary care and neurology clinics, and assists with ED and inpatient consultations. He is one of the current ECP co-chairs of the HIV/AIDS psychiatry SIG. His areas of interest are HIV psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, reproductive psychiatry, collaborative care, psychodynamic psychotherapy and medical education.
