Dr Albertini completed her undergraduate education at Princeton University and her medical training at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. After four years of residency training in psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, Dr Albertini did an additional postgraduate fellowship in consult-liaison psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She served as assistant professor of psychiatry at Mount Sinai where she took an active role in education of medical students, residents and fellows for 4 years after fellowship as well as she starting a consultation service embedded in the outpatient obstetrics clinic for the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She currently works as Director of Outpatient Services at the Motherhood Center of New York in addition to running the fellowship program and resident electives at the center.
