Dr. Teresa S.M. Tsang is a Professor of Medicine and Associate Head Research, Department of Medicine, University of British Columbia. She is also Medical Director of Echocardiography for Vancouver General and UBC Hospitals, and Head of the Vancouver General Hospital Echo Core Lab. She is an Executive Member of the Canadian Society of Echocardiography and serves as the Asia-Pacific Liaison. Dr. Tsang maintains an active research program, with major funding awards from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and others. Her recent research has focused on advancing cardiac imaging through development, validation and integration of machine learning/artificial intelligence solutions.
