After obtaining her MD at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, Dr. Martha Moran pursued general pediatric and pediatric cardiology training at the National Pediatric Institute in Mexico City, and advanced subspecialty training in pediatric echocardiography at the University of Alberta. Currently, she is completing advanced cardiac MRI training also at the University of Alberta. Her research focus is on clinical 3D echocardiography of the tricuspid valve as well as single ventricle echocardiography.
