Annie Chou, MD, FRCPC completed her undergraduate studies in Honours Physiology, her Medical Degree, and her Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship all at the University of British Columbia. She enjoyed 3 years of General Cardiology practice in North Vancouver where she started the Rapid Access to Cardiac Expertise Clinic at Lions Gate Hospital, but has moved on as the Director of General Cardiology at St. Paul's Hospital. Here, she serves as the Medical Director of Providence Heart Davie, the new St. Paul's Hospital General Cardiology Clinic. She created and opened St. Paul's Hospital Chest Pain Clinic in 2020, and is hoping to disseminate her experience nation-wide. As well, Dr. Chou is the cardiology lead for the Vascular Medicine Clinic at St. Paul's Hospital, and also works in the Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and the Cardiac Obstetrics Clinic. Dr. Chou is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, and also serves as the Associate Program Director of the UBC Cardiology Training Program. She can be spotted doing her regular 10 km runs along the seawall every weekend.
