Dr. Kendra Derry completed medical school at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and her anesthesia residency at the University of Ottawa. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia at the Ottawa Heart Institute. Given her particular interest in echocardiography and imaging for structural heart disease interventions, she recently completed an additional clinical fellowship in Advanced Structural Heart Disease Imaging through Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston MA. She currently working as an attending anesthesiologist apart of the Cardiac Anesthesia Division at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Queen's University. In addition to her clinical work, she is the academic lead for the cardiac anesthesia division and anesthesia lead for the structural heart program.
