Dr Madhu Natarajan obtained his medical degree at the University of Toronto and a Masters in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University. He is an interventional cardiologist at Hamilton Health Sciences since 1996, with a special interest in structural interventions. He is currently Director of the Hamilton-Niagara Region Integrated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, Site Lead for Division of Cardiology at Hamilton General Hospital, Professor of Medicine at McMaster University and Scientist at Population Research Institute (PHRI). A keen advocate for access to care and health delivery, Dr Natarajan has been contributing to several provincial committees at CorHealth Ontario (formerly Cardiac Care Network) where he currently chairs the Cardiac Leadership Committee. He also has a strong interest in medical education and has been a member of the Royal College Adult Cardiology Exam Board from 2010-2020..
