Dr. Vikas Kuriachan joined the Cardiology / Cardiac Electrophysiology group at the Libin Institute and University of Calgary in July 2010 after completing a year of complex ablation training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School. He is currently the Interim Zone Clinical Department Head of Cardiac Sciences, Calgary Zone and a Clinical Associate Professor. His Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology training were in Calgary and Internal Medicine at University of British Columbia. He was Calgary Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 under 40 in 2013. His clinical and research interests include ablation, in particular VT ablation, device implantation, complex extraction, physician wellness, and new electrophysiology technologies.
