Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

describe how to monitor patients with thoracic aortic disease in the virtual world;
describe how to maintain engagement for cardiac rehab patients leveraging digital resources;
how to automate care following cardiac discharge using remote monitoring;
provide a glimpse into future cardiac virtual care metaverse; and
discuss the limitations and barriers to cardiac virtual care.

The Cardiac Virtual Care plenary Our New Normal and a Brave New World was designed to investigate how virtual care is being implemented by different specialties and sub-specialties, including surgery, cardio rehab, and nursing, as well as a “big picture” perspective.
