Diana Dima, BSc (Nursing) CCN(C) (MSc.N), is an Advanced Practice Nurse who has worked in the field of acute care cardiology since 2012. Diana’s clinical and research interest has been implementing nursing critical care practices in acute cardiovascular care. Diana has presented on the role of early mobilization in patients with acute cardiovascular disease to both nursing and interdisciplinary audiences at multiple levels of organization and research conferences, including the CCC. Diana is currently working on integrating the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s ABCDEF Bundle as part of standardized care in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. She has played a leadership role in designing the nurse-driven early mobility intervention and is the nursing leader of the interdisciplinary team. Diana continues to play an integral role in the education and knowledge translation and dissemination strategies with nursing and interdisciplinary groups.
