Dr. Michael Goldfarb is a cardiologist at Jewish General Hospital in Montreal and an assistant professor of Cardiology at McGill University. He completed his cardiology training at McGill University, followed by a Master’s of Science in Experimental Medicine and the Clinician Investigator Program at McGill. He subsequently trained in Critical Care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His clinical and research interests involve improving the quality of care and outcomes for patients with acute cardiac disease and critical illness in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. He is the Director of the Quality of Care and Safety committee in the Division of Cardiology at Jewish General Hospital. Dr. Goldfarb is an active member of the Canadian Cardiovascular Critical Care Society, a multidisciplinary group created to improve the quality of care of critical ill cardiovascular patients. He has published peer-reviewed articles on quality measures and outcomes in patients with acute cardiovascular disease and critical illness.
