Alexis Matteau, MD, MSc, FRCPC is a clinical assistant professor at Université de Montréal and an interventional cardiologist at the Centre hospitalier de l’université de Montréal (CHUM) and Charles-Lemoyne hospital. After completing his medical training and cardiology fellowship at the Université de Montréal, he pursued an interventional cardiology fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, USA. He also holds a degree in epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is currently the co-director of the CHUM CTO PCI program. His research interests focus on the pharmacoepidemiologic/pharmacoeconomic evaluation of new drugs in cardiovascular disease and evaluation of novel technologies in the field of interventional cardiology.
