Hello, my name is Ming, and I am a second-year medical student at McMaster University, Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, interested in pursuing a career in cardiac surgery. Originally from Markham, ON, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa in 2020, receiving an Hons. Bachelor of Health Sciences, before I was fortunate to be admitted to McMaster! My current research interests lie in aortic valve injuries, congenital heart diseases, and managing heart failure in patients. Outside of school, I enjoy playing all things sports-related with my friends, particularly soccer, and I thoroughly relish cooking and trying different cuisines!
