Work experience includes the post operative cardiac surgery ward, specialized care with post LVAD insertion and heart transplant patients. Passionate about patient education with a focus on transition from hospital to cardiovascular rehabilitation. Currently involved with many quality initiatives to increase the enrollment of cardiac patients into cardiovascular rehabilitation programs, optimization of elective pre-surgery patients and post operative enhanced outcomes using the Enhanced Recovery after Surgery guidelines.
