Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

review the contemporary care gaps in Low-Density Lipoprotein-Cholesterol (LDL-C)-lowering management of Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) patients in Canadian practice;
discuss the findings of the North American Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) Reflective III Pilot, an observational, Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QuERI) and knowledge translation program designed to provide feedback to physicians regarding LDL-C-lowering management of their post-ACS patients; and,
identify and understand current challenges to, and optimize implementation of, evidence-based, Canadian Cardiovascular Society Dyslipidemia guideline-recommended LDL-C-lowering management of post-ACS patients.
