The Canadian Cardiovascular Society and Bayer Inc. are proud to support the CCS-Bayer Cardiovascular Research Award. With this award, we hope to further research in thrombosis, anticoagulation, stroke, heart failure, atrial fibrillation or cardiac imaging to improve the lives of Canadians who are affected by these conditions, and their families. The program is particularly interested in research that has the potential to advance knowledge about or improve the care of patients at risk for vascular, thrombotic or embolic events.

In this lively session the three 2022 finalists will present their research project and answer questions from the peer review committee. A bonus prize will be awarded by the audience! Be there to help reward creativity and innovation in patient care.

The live competition will be followed by a networking reception.
