The Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS), Heart & Stroke / Richard Lewar Centre of Excellence in Cardiovascular Research (HSRLCE), and the BI-Lilly Alliance have collaboratively created an award, entitled the “CCS/HSRLCE/BI-Lilly-Cardiometabolic Research Award”. With this award, we hope to further research on the link between cardiovascular disease in diabetes to improve the lives of Canadians who are affected by these conditions, and their families. This Award provides grants for 2 research projects on topics related to advancing knowledge or improving the care of patients with cardiometabolic disease.

In this lively session the two 2022 finalists will present their research project and answer questions from the Peer Review Committee. Be there to help reward creativity and innovation in patient care. Find out who will be awarded which of the 2 available Cardiometabolic Research Awards in 2022!

The live competition will be following by a networking reception.
