• Has over 16 years of experience in the Design, Inspection, Load Rating, and Construction Management of Bridge and Marine Structures.
• Over the past 6 years, he has been a member of the project team that managed the design and delivery of over $1 Billion in Capital projects as a part of the Modernization of the Wando Welch Terminal in Mt. Pleasant, SC and the opening of the Hugh K. Leatherman Terminal in North Charleston, SC. This includes a variety of projects from the Charleston Harbor Deepening, Wharf Renovation, Wharf Construction, Ship to Shore Crane Design, Delivery, and Commissioning, Terminal Expansion, and the construction of the two largest round-a-bouts in the State of SC.
• He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He is also a licensed professional engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Mississippi.
• Mr. Stehmeyer is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and several national technical committees. These include involvement as a voting member of the ASCE COPRI Ports and Harbors Committee and was a founding Member of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Young Professional Committee.
