Science Center in Brooklyn, NY and his neurology residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He subsequently completed a headache fellowship at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and was an attending neurologist at the Jefferson Headache Center/Thomas Jefferson University for three years. Dr. Rozen then became Director of Headache Research at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then went on to the Michigan Head-Pain and Neurological Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan one of the pre-eminent programs for intractable headache in the United States where he served as Director of Outpatient Services. Dr. Rozen then served as the Director of the Geisinger Headache Center in Pennsylvania for 6 plus years. Currently he is a Professor of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and a Consultant Neurologist at Mayo Clinic Florida. Dr Rozen has written over 100 articles pertaining to the subject of headache and is the co-author of two books. Dr. Rozen is a former Associate Editor for Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain. He was the 2006 winner of the American Academy of Neurology: Harold Wolff-John Graham Award. He has lectured on the subject of headache in both the United States and abroad.
