At the Inovia Vein Specialty Clinics in Oregon, Rachel work's closely with vein specialists in the care of patients with venous insufficiency, venous leg ulcers and the diagnosis and treatment of patients with DVT. She is currently the lead medical assistant and educational director to develop a system wide cloud-based training program for all employees with a focus on promoting care consistency and competence in vein care at these clinics. She is a collaborator with a group of experts from the American Venous and Lymphatic Society (AVLS), the American Venous Forum (AVF) and International Union of Phlebology (UIP) on the anatomy and clinical care of anterior saphenous vein reflux. Rachel graduated with a bachelors's degree in Biology from George Fox University where she was an All-American Athlete on the Women's Golf Team and served as the team captain. She is passionate about community service, patient centered vascular care, research, and education.
