Levan Sulakvelidze has been with the Center for Vascular Medicine for five years and serves as Director of Clinical Compliance & Healthcare Delivery of the Company. In this role, Levan conceived and developed several software applications, including a patient recovery queue program which identified and prioritized patients who were lost to follow-up and ensured they received necessary care. Levan also created a novel procedure documentation system which automatically generates surgeon progress notes and automates the medical coding process. Levan has several publications in peer-reviewed medical journals (including first author on two publications as of August 2022), with the data for those publications originating from health records programs developed under his supervision. In his free time, Levan enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, and playing the piano.
