Paul started his engineering career as an intern with Schneider in 1993, as part of the stent division developing Wallstent. Upon earning his BS in biomedical engineering from Marquette University, he joined Schneider and continued through acquisition by Boston Scientific. In the years following, Paul has made it his goal to understand our customers’ and their patients’ needs, and to provide innovative and improved medical technologies to improve outcomes. He has served on numerous design and development teams for interventional cardiology and peripheral interventions, including Wallstent, Wallgraft, Epic stent, Promus and Synergy coronary drug-eluting stents. He has also contributed to numerous exploratory R&D projects and business development programs within Boston Scientific. Paul serves as a member of the Marquette University Biomedical Engineering industrial advisory board, has authored a chapter on stent design, and is an inventor on over 40 U.S. patents.
