Dr. Arjun Jayaraj did his training in general surgery at the University of Washington, Seattle followed by a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He is currently board certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery. Dr. Jayaraj is a recognized expert in the field of venous disease having done over 1000 deep venous procedures, making it one of the largest experiences in the country. His extensive clinical experience is complemented by his clinical research. He is a frequent speaker at national/international meetings, in addition to authoring/co-authoring, numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and book chapters. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Vascular Surgery - Venous and Lymphatic Disorders; Journal of Vascular Surgery - Cases, Innovations and Techniques; and Veins and Lymphatics apart from serving as an invited reviewer for multiple other journals including the Journal of Endovascular Therapy, Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Phlebology and Thrombosis and Haemostasis. Dr. Jayaraj also sits on the Board of Directors of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) - Vascular Interventional and committees of the American Venous Forum and Society for Vascular Surgery.
