Chris Pittman, M.D., FAVLS, FACR is CEO and Medical Director of Vein911® Vein Treatments Centers, an award-winning venous and lymphatic medicine practice in Tampa, Florida. He is Managing Director of Health Performance Specialists, the largest independent network of vein and lymphatic care practices in the USA. He serves as Board Manager of Tampa Bay Integrated Healthcare Network, a physician-led clinically integrated network partnered with Florida Blue, Aetna, Cigna, and Oscar.
Dr. Pittman serves on the Board of Directors of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (AVLS) and Chair of the Advocacy Committee. Dr. Pittman has extensive experience in healthcare advocacy and politics, healthcare policy and innovation, and health information technology. His wife, Karen Gonzalez Pittman, is a candidate for Florida State House of Representatives. He is physician consultant to Athenahealth, a top-tier EMR company, and two health information technology start-ups.
Dr. Pittman is administrator of Foam Sclerotherapy Experts LinkedIn Group with 1200+ physician members and President of the TransAmerican Sclerotherapy Institute, Inc., a not-for-profit promoting sclerotherapy patient benefits and the education of sclerotherapists.
He is Executive Producer of “Vein911”, a reality TV show that infotains the public and physicians about the effects of venous and lymphatic disease on health and wellness.
Dr. Pittman is a devoted husband, father of 4, and a 25-year cancer survivor.
