This year's Superficial Venous Disease sessions will cover three separate areas, the first session is focused on venous anatomy, venous Disease Classification, and fundamentals regarding the role of compression therapy.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstate understanding of the superficial venous anatomy, nomenclature, and description of physiologic interaction with the deep venous anatomy
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstate understanding of chronic venous insufficency epidemiology and pathophysiology
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstate understanding of revised CEAP and VCSS scoring, including updated patient reported quality of life scoring and application of the new Symptoms-Varices-Pathophysiology (“SVP”) classification for pelvic venous disease
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstrate understanding of the chronic lower extremity swelling diagnostic algorithm
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstrate understanding of the indications and use of lower extremity compression modalities
